General Forum: Current 'Affairs' | Is Naxalism is socio-economic issue? | |
| NO.
I am with Communists, but Bajrang Dal.
But one thing I must say.
You are just a computer kid! Always sits in the lab taking care of the network. Without realizing the ground realities, the core reasons for the violence in the society, you are unconditionally tendering your 'sorry', as I critically wrote something about extremism and extremists! That's the problem with the technical professonals...they equate Bajrang Dal with Communists! I still for the Banning of Bajrang Dal as My great culture needs no cultural policing. This Organisation is spreading contra-culture instead of real culture.

Good to receive your word.

Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 6, Jul 2004 7:04:42 PM IST Naxalites have the intention to end the hostilities!...but without the compromising on their ideology. Communism is everywhere in the Universe, even though there are parties with that name! Kiranji. Naxalites are extreme form.....if the government is sincere, they too can be tackled, if it compromises. If U notice the injustices faced by the poor at the gross-root level, and there is no remedy for it, as two castes in AP are dominating the scene, an individual may take-up guns for his survival! I personally seen a person at Piduguralla...last March(2004), who took up arms to live in that village, as he was caught between two warring factions. His brother was killed by one of them. His wife was rapped by another group. He too was threatened. Hence, he contacted Naxalites, and took up the arms. The Police, instead of curbing the faction politics in that region, kept this person in the Wanted Naxalite List and issued shot at sight orders OR SURRENDER. He surrendered, but the Police humiliated him openly. Government is simply watching a game.
Posted by: Mr. Vachaspathi V At: 6, Jul 2004 6:29:32 PM IST Their motto is egalitarian society.
Hope U have listened the interview of a Surrendered Naxalite yesterday from Warangal.
The talks bound to fail!
Because what they demand is not acceptable to these murky politicians....
They want to fight with guns in hand, for the new democracy. If the directive principles of state policy are implemented with true letter and spirit, that new democracy with egalitarian colour is possible...as per Balagopal.
Earlier talks failed to the midadventures of the government...
Posted by: Mr. Vachaspathi V At: 6, Jul 2004 6:09:10 PM IST Wanted to make sure of Naxalite attacks? May be they changed their way and the attacks? It won't solve any of the problems which the soceity is facing now like:
1. Corruption
2. Enbezzelment of Govt funds
3. Dacoits
4. Gang rapes
5. Kabza

Accepting for talks means that they are trying to come to the mainstream.

Few intellectual supports violence.
But many intellectuals feel the presence of naxalites, otherwise, these murky politicians do whatever they want!
...
A group of Unemployed Youth met the CM, APPSC Chairman, various elected representatives of newly formed assembly, on the issue of irregularities during the interviews for G-II posts. CM, his secreary, and many others overlooked their claim, but in fact, there are irregularies. (ikkaDa dongalu dongalu dESAnni panchukunnAru) Hence, they met another IAS official who resigned from the service (I don't name him here). He simply advised them, U either continue to fight or meet naxalites, these politicians will not do any justice to U.
....
Hence, naxalites too enjoy some sympathy at some quarters.
