General Forum: Current 'Affairs' | Can integration of rivers be possible in India? | |
| Integration is definitely possible ... how? There is already a plan put forward by the Govt Linking Ganges to Kauveri and it only needs to be implemented - provided no Medha Patkars or Arundhati Rais dont try to frustrate the interlinking attempts, in order to shoot themselves into the headlines.

Becaue linking of rivers means, linking of various econological niches also...that could lead to integration or migration of several environmental specific species also. A specie in one Ecological niche could turn-up a predator in another one. Hence, there are inherent dangers.

Can integration of rivers be possible in India? If so, how? If not, why? Express your views.
