change is constant in life. Belief is part of life. Today some one believes on some aspects on particular shape of GOD. Tomorrow he/she believes on some other aspects or shape of GOD. like my childhood days(not as famous as now) I don't know about shiridi sai baba/santosi maatha. North people never queued for Tirpati. My reasons and Questions are here for why Not? Only Govt can use force to eradicate wrong belief. ex Sillangi, ChetabaDi, Chedupu Still in India certain part of the world women are not allowd in the temples.-- Gove can controll this. If tomorrow our feminists say we also can do rituals?--- Only Govt can appoint and control a women as priest. Only Govt can control the nudity in the name of God.-- Saadhus and Sanyaas. Only Govt can control the usage of charas or ganja in the name of GOD. Above all talk about the social evils. Those things can be controlled only Govt, until the society is ready to take into its hands. Now come to money. 1) Lots of lands in India are still undocumented. Most of these lands are given to priests by local ruling kings (agrahaaram). Only Govt can distrubute these lands properly. How? Temple lands has to distributed either by Temple priest(management) or govt. for example Nizam Kings. Only Govt can legislate and use force to bring them under control. Never expect every change will bring instant results. Correction of change is a process. I strongly support that the temples and temple land should be under Govt control. When you want to talk about social descriminitaion in the temples. Then don't menstion as SC/ST. Say simple descrimination, Other wise you are tagging them as seperate people (Moorch rogiki billalu tagilinchinattu).

Since you asked, How come anyone know the caste of a person entering the temple just by mere look at the countenance? You cannot go by complexion as there are lot of FC's who have darker complexion. I don't know about Nizamabad temples, nobody cares in Vijaywada or Hyderabad.

Posted by: Mr. Reddyvari Nagi Reddy MBASaudiArabia Reddy At: 21, Jan 2005 2:06:32 PM IST The question is not whether allowing or not allowing. The question is after Govt. takes over the temples only the temple having more income survives where as the other temples are made into ruins. Once you can visit chilukur vEnkateswara swami temple you can see why they dont collect any thing including hundi. Let govt maintain temples like that and not collecting huge amounts in the name of arjita sevas. Then they will not touch even a single temple. They are interested in money and not in the temple. One minister talked of diverting TTD funds for govt. public works. At least let them spend money in uplifting other temples and our rich heritage. I strongly believe that Govt. should not take over the temples.

Every one visits for some purpose. Purpose is diffrent but the destination same. 1. Some one to loot the temple. 2. Some one to do business. 3. Some one makes a traditional visit. 4. Some don't know at all why they visit. 5. Some one along with friends & relatives 6. Some with beliefs Temples under the control of Govt ya charity ya trust what difference does it makes for a visitor ???

1. Govt. is intrested in well to do temples to ensure the funds are not embezzled. 2. Kalahasthi still better if you compare Amaravathi. 3. Freedom of religion is not the misuse or either abuse. Why not temples set an example in AP under Govt. control. The funds are equally distributed for the development of rest of temples where we need more funds.
