SAP is one of the best ERP Packages, Now a days SAP is mainly using for Manufacturing & Logistics control. IT is having several modules which will control the production and shipping. Coming to programming there is a module for programming in SAP called ABAP.

SAP : Systems, Applications and products in data processing.
In real terms , It is just like package which is in coordination with all the different modules. ( Ex: pp,fico, sd, mm , etc ) which are required for any organisation.
( For example : any manufaturing plant contains all the process ).
For example : If we take oracle finance , it contains only finance module.
Will give u a detailed description in soon.

SAP is one of the tool used in the Business process application and re-engineering for enhancement of the business as an integration step towards the co ordination between among the all departments at the same time and fullfilling an assignment at single mentioned time inorder to avoid the wastage of time and delay in step by step sanctions and admissions.It is most powerful tool which can be applied to most of the industries having operations in marketing,finance,trade,manufacturing,distribution and delivery.A person who want to go in this feild should be well versed with Business Process which can be acquired by domain knowledge,through understanding of line of functions in the respective department.
