Yes its a very good decision, the character of a child or teenagers can be moulded in NCC,This is taught during sundays, the salient features in NCC are --- One,s behaviour shapedup here --- One can learn how to mingle with outside family members and strengthens friendship and reduces selfishness --- Improves Discipline --- Alleviates timidity --- Neatness --- Punctuality --- Helps to learn Good Manners --- Improves Leadership qualities --- Habituates helping nature --- Improves Patiency --- Adventures --- Sufficient good qualities one can aquire by taking NCC Training,it strengthens one morale how to withstand during adverse situations. --- By doing parades etc one,s health and physic Improves --- During war NCC Cadets can help the forces to lay tents,to give first aid,and can understands the requirements of the forces easily and can assit them effectively --- One can learn how to operate gunds gliders, flying technics, parachutjumping, ,Aeroplanes,Missiles,Laying of Tents,About first Aid. I din,t find any negative things in NCC, instead roaming in the streets during sundays nothing one can loose if he gone for NCC training.

Yes. Ask any student about the full form of NCC. 90% of answers are NCC - National Computer Center. People are too passionate to see their children as professionals. No one knows about the Integrity, Uprightness, Leadership, discipline, commitment and responsibility for motherland. To avoid this we have to make NCC & NSS as mandatory in schools and colleges especially in private schools.

First of all, thank you Site Administrator for bringin up a good discussion on to the site. Our President suggested makin NCC mandatory for students: let us discuss the topic from the student point of view. those lil kids will say a very big YES to the top of their voices b'coz in this mechanical studies they r devoid of their extracurricular activities and they need some refreshment and quite obvious NCC is a way of not only creating it but also it leaves a sense of devotion to the country..nevertheless, the students should not be subjected only to marching but also to various activities like educating poor people and so on..in fact, i never had NCC so i would strongly prefer tht it shud leave them with a sense of satisfaction. I hope all the people will come up with their experiences and the changes required in NCC to make it more interesting.. thankin u very much.. best wishes for one n all...and hope everybody supports the movement. ( the anti notes can also b posted but i don think they r dominatin the positive ones) Voice.

President Abdul Kalam has expressed the view that all school and college students should compulsorily serve in the National Cadet Corps for at least two years. Do you support this suggestion? What are your views? What are the pros and cons of such a law?
