Posted by: Jasmine Meera At: 5, Feb 2005 11:37:15 PM IST I mean to say tht we can sell the prepared stuff by village women can b bought by the volunteers from village and can b sold to a person who is willing to open a shop.. meanin tht both the villagers and the ppl below poverty line can make benefit of this..
Govt policies went as flop b'coz of less or no interest in the scheme and i hope tht this movement is such which will b neglected...so gave tht suggestion.
best wishes,
Vani.

Yes we were not concentrated on carrier development courses.
Where they can earn with learned skills,
Kamakshi Mogudu :
Yes I agree with you. If every one can clean their house and help neighbors,
It’s nothing like that. Country will prosper just like that.
That’s what it is people are not doing their duty.
Even who suppose to do their duty are not doing.
Posted by: Realize - Revive At: 5, Feb 2005 9:19:06 PM IST People are not interested in paper tiger.
Case Study: List down the facts and findings.
1. This is not the first case of it's kind.
2. It won't be the last also.
3. He is also dedicated like others.
4. He has no single compliant since from the date of appointment.
5. He alone not involved.
6. He helped the people for IT exemption which could be 2000 crores.
This amount of two crores should be spent for either in the form of scholarship for students whose education suffered from economy / road construction / housing / medical for the poor instead of depositing with the Govt.
In future such huge amounts should be spared for the benifit of the people.
Infuture any such amount

well, so u have so many problems in the villages tht u have already mentioned right?
ok i agree tht some r natural calamities but many r created by us.
we r not concentratin on vRutti vidyalu
a villagers comes into city hopin to have meals atleast once a day instead of not havin anything.
everyone has some inborn talent and b4 trainin people, we need to find out the uniqueness of the person.
well, tht doesn't mean tht u need to bunk ur office or ur regular work and get into village to fix up the problem.
but at least one can talk to the Gram Panchayat regarding the work we r intendin to take up so as to educate people, and which in turn creates a good impression on the panchayat board which may help them in elections.
i have studied tht this world will never assisst u in ur work unless n until they get some benefit and this is where we need our communication skills.
well, continuin with the discussion, ppl of the group near to the village can spare their time durin weekend or whenever they feel like..
some women may b taught tailoring. now even tailorin has many sub-branches in it.so all the people r not given the same trainin but a wide variety so tht they can attain perfect skill..we make them master and not "jack of all, master of none"
and comin to guys...we need to think abt tht..
and also, other way...
mostly women villagers have pretty good time in which we can help them to work.
hopin tht u ppl r not gettin bored, i need to explain this in detail..
In cities, many of the women r workin.
what they need while cooking is raallu leni biyyam, pappulu, manchi rakam pasupu,allam-velluli,etc etc to make their cookin job simpler.
now we can make this idle women to work in such activities and women like to work in such things..
i think this is alike a scheme by Govt but good ideas shud never b neglected and especially for a noble cause like this..
more in next posting (after ppl's response only)
best wishes,
Prakruthi.
Posted by: Miss Prakruthi At: 5, Feb 2005 5:31:15 PM IST RI,
think u have a prob callin with blank name..so here i kept it ..
well, am not talkin abt a graduate who completed his/her studies but who r still under gettin educated.
we needn't make a big impact on the society but if we r able to lit the strong fire in the hearts of people to help their fellow beings then our mission is more successful than we ever thought.
now can u come to the main discussion?
how to organise this?
i can join this movement only in june and not before tht as i am away from AP.
i hope tht i have some work left over by the time i reach there.
best wishes n regards,
Prakruthi.
Posted by: Miss Prakruthi At: 5, Feb 2005 4:55:36 PM IST 'sowmya sowmya' & ' Ms --- --- ' thanks for your comments.
My idea is ...
What ever we are doing, it is not suppose to disturb our primary responsibilities initially.
(our job, education , business etc).
At the same time we should make a BIG impact on society with our activities.
Once we get good support from society, slowly we can come out and expand our wings.
We need to teach public how to catch the fish –
Means.. How to protect, fight for the right -
so basically give education (www.pradham.org )
Since we have education, we know how to protect ourselves.
That is the reason we are talking like this now. (... to help /serve others )
Second, give them the knowledge (for FREE) that they can use and earn out of it.
So ultimately what we are doing improving and developing our community.
Our community means, people who can recognize, what we are doing , spread what we did.
For education I am quoting PRADHAM -
For job related courses , people should talk about us.
-0-
I agree with ' Ms ---- ---- ' People are looking for short cuts -
No there is no short cut for success -
being an engg graduate why we need call center job ?
(you may immediate job, easy, have some financial problems
break through, can improve communication etc..)
Think your inner heart - you know the exact reason -
for sure it is not one of the above most of the cases.
you want a success with little effort.
Effortless success - Will give little or temporary results.
Sure We will get this project into a definite shape!!
-Thanks

Posted by: sowmya sowmya At: 5, Feb 2005 2:00:18 AM IST Hello Revive,
i think i can help u in one form..training the engineering students when i reach Hyd.Many of my friends told tht gettin into
call centers was easy for them but i really donno the scenario.so i need to study the exact scene when i reach there.
I am studying in B.tech -Civil Engg, right now and goin to takeover my job as software engineer in Hyd after 5 months.
meanwhile, i think u ppl shud have a strong idea of where r u heading towards.
Prasanthi's idea is good and i appreciate her for each n every of her work.
and Kudos to u too but u r really worth it when u really can get this project into a definite shape. atleast for the reason tht u stirred up minds of people on the topic.
concentrate on unemployment:
see, the problem with us is tht we expect a lot from ourselves. we think we can't get into a job which doesn't worth our studies but we forget tht we have some inbuilt talent within ourselves which needs to b explored. this is my belief and faith.
so we need to tap the hidden talents of youth. (need to think how?)
well, i don understand y people r not interested in their own village?
think i can suggest some ways of it. but i think it is irrelevant here.
am i talkin some sense? i doubt.
me out.(atleast for now)
Ugly.
