Posted by: ★Vinåyåkåm★ chitt♥♥r At: 6, Jun 2005 8:32:22 PM IST Justice? What justice are you talking about? This Congress Govt is meant for such things... eat eat eat and eat. They have starved for more about 10 yrs, just understand and imagine their hunger. And we have elected them, for eating. Then, why should we hope for justice? They are doing justice for being elected. Thanks.
Posted by: Bahud♥♥rapu Baatasaari At: 6, Jun 2005 7:58:11 PM IST The multi-crore temple lands scam has turned into a major issue for the Congress regime in AP. Endowments Minister M. Satyanarayana resigned his post while CM Y S R Reddy ordered judicial enquiry into the temple land deals on Monday. Mr. Satyanarayana even dragged PCC President K. Keshava Rao into this scandal. The authorities connive with vested interests to corner prime properties, which they are supposed to protect. Out of the 3,76,376 acres of landed properties owned by 33,899 temples in the state, over 1,00,000 acres are in the possession of encroachers. Recently, the endowments department had cleared the sale of nearly 246 acres of land worth Rs.1 billion for just Rs.115.2 million. Is this not a classic case of the fence eating the crop? Discuss.
