When Mr. Advani referred to Jinnah in Pakistan, he probably wanted a debate on the roles of Jinnah and Nehru to determine who was secular and who was not. Unfortunately, his request for a debate was rejected by the Sangh Parivar. The Congress too killed the debate even before it started.

If you were asking me that, sorry I am not part of this discussion. People wanted some history, so I just posted what I have read. Ramajanmabhoomi, doesnt bother me at all. It might cater for intellecutual, religious or emotional need of certain higher sections of hindu society. I am not part of it. :-)

Of course, if the Buddhists really want it and if it can be proved with Proper evidence minus kaakamma kathalu that the temple was built "forcebly" over the buddhist shrine,then there should not be any problem in converting it back to the shrine. Conversion and Readaptation of temples within the boundaries of the Hindu Culture has been a common phenomenon. As crocy rightly asked, How many Buddhists wanted it back so far?

vishNukunDina vamSam (420-620)
vishNukunDina's were from vinukonDa, Guntur dist. vinukonDa was sanskritized and became vishNukunDina. This dynasty had total 9 kings. The first king was madhava varma. The famous one was second Madhava varma. His capital was vijayawada. In his times, mogalraja puram, vunDavalli and amaravati, buhddist temples were demolished and Hindu temples were built. This was documented by a chinese visitor named, Hyuan sang( not sure about how it spelled).
The story:
'amaraavati stoopam bauddha bhikshuvula adheenamlO vundi. braahmaNulu ee stoopampai pettanam kaavaalani tagaada peTTaaru. bauddha bhikshuvulu talupulu biginchukoni lOpala koorchunnaaru. bayaTa braahmaNulu muTTaDi vESaaru. chiTTachivaraku bauddha bhikshuvulu telupulu teesi, bayaTaki vachchi raaju gaarini madhyavartitvam aDugudaamani aayana vaddaku veLLaaru. ee lOgaa braahmaNulu stoopaanni aakraminchukunaaru. raaju braahmaNula tarapuna teerpu cheppaaDu. bauddha bhikshuvulu sthaanabhraShTulai lEchi pOyinaaru. koddirOjula taruvaata amaraavati stoopam amarESwaraalayangaa maaripOyindi."

Congress Declared Swaraj in 1906
And Mohandas Gandhi was no more a Young Boy
These movements succeeded always in part
But the real fighters were always strong at Heart
Nehru Patel Bahadur Maulana and Bose
Later Came in and Played their part!
This is was the struggle even before Mahatma's birth
Laxmi Bai to Bhagat Singh met with Heavenly death
Hope these half-baked Journalists Realize

and yeah..
I NEVER CLAIMED THAT I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING .. I still would say What I know is not even a Nano Particle compared to a Galaxy.
Yes It is a fact I dont know History much and that is the reason why I dont write irresponsible articles - I know software and I write about software
and When I dont know completely about Vedas or Puranas I dont dare to insult them like what you do!
If I make an allegation I susbstantiate it with proper proof or reference and dont escape like you
That does make a difference!
