Yeah Prasanthi, thats why I objected only the part of first sentence, not the entire posting.

Yes. Rightly said BB. But what I suppose is Doboy's intention might be hindu majority rather than dominance.

Doboy, I too agree with you. May be the Hindu in me supports your view. But as long as our bloody leaders involve in monkey politics and depend on votebanks and trumpcards, there can never be a solution to this issue. As long as Pakistan tries to lure or intoxicate few outraged individuals here, the conflict continues. It is shame on us that inspite of the togetherness and f'ship of all these years, we couldn't fully trust others at tense times.

I strongly object with the first part of your first sentence DoBoy ji! And to some extent, the second part of your first statement.

BB, I too agree that Hindus are tolerant than people of other religions. My comment was just a comment on the incidents that happened. There was no personal reference either to u or anyone else. Coming to supporting the people who bashes Hindu religion. May I know what you exactly meant by 'supporting' here? This is a common platform mainly intended for telugu people. In telugu people, there are muslims, christians and other religions and based on their opinions (to what they are subjected to) they use the language here. So there is no question of moderation here. As members we are all opposing or debating such persons. Thats it. Coming to the ideology, I always feel that citizens must have an idea on what was going in their respective countries and all over the world too and must frame an opinion and to decide where they stand etc., But when it comes to critical issues, I couldn't decide. We cannot justify what is right, what is wrong, what is good, what is bad etc., Hope many of us watched the movie 'Khadgam'. I didn't understand why few muslims opposed it. I am a fan of Vartha daily and ofcourse of Mehajabeen too. But somehow I couldn't approve of or expect her letter in the 'Letters to Editors' section. They are no different. Then I penned an article as a response to her letter. I didn't send it to Vartha but submitted here but mine was rejected saying I need maturity to understand the things. Actually I posted it to another group (which includes the citizens of all countries) and send it to few of my NET friends. Mr. Sri from TeluguCinema.com liked it and asked my permission whether to post it or not in that site. I said ok and u do not believe there was much discussion on it in that site. After sometime, I became a silent spectator and my heart, as a pendulum, move from that side to this side, listening to those arguments. So such topics can never end. After much thinking (though I am not an intellectual) I came to a conclusion similar to the concept of chinna geeta, pedda geeta . If you want to make a big one small, you need to draw a big line beside it. Similarly if you want to wipe out bad, strengthen the good. That is the only way for real progress.

India is hindu dominated country, probably the only two nations which have major hindu domination is india and nepal. Our country is really very flexible, i mean the hindu majority. There is lot of importance attached to Ayodhya in epics. Why on earth should there be an issue, can't other religions not accommodate to give hindus so much of freedom to have their temple, can't they do that small sacrifice. Which other country can boast with hindu majority to have sikh pm, muslim president, and may be a christain head could have also become pm. Are we not flexible.? If we cannot build a temple in our country , can be afford to do in any other country. It is sheer politics that is dividing country , people, & religions.

SDBji, I didn't differentiate educated and normal people. I expressed about the conflict within a person, at one end the educationist asks, 'is it necessary?', the common man in us (based by birth, influences of surroundings etc., etc.,) asks 'why not?'. I too agree that intensity and the expression vary. But what about the feeling and reaction? Many educated elite in Hindus do not give much importance or insist on the construction of Ram temple. If it is so, we would have it already. There would not be any question or conflict at all if all of us supported it.

Hello BB, Whatever may be the reason, if we go on digging this way, there never will be an end. I am also a Hindu. Sentiments arouse. There is always a conflict between the educated and the normal person with sentiments in us. I do not have fixed idea with respect to 'whether I want a Ram temple or not'. I did write an article 'Sentiments' but I am not giving the link ofcourse:) It is there in my list of articles in authorsden. cheppakanE cheputunnaa :))
