Sneha garu, /** 19000th rank is not a big rank at all.The caliber of a person who got 2000th rank or 20000th rank will be the same. **/ How ????????, so based on this can I think the caliber of state 1st and 2000 rank are same, so caliber of state 1st = caliber of 2000, again as said caliber of 2000 = caliber of 20,000 , that means finally caliber of state 1st = caliber of 20,000 so nothing special in ranks right :), I can't understand why all the intelligent people there have designed a ranking system for EAMCET.......... /** there are several cases where the students got still a worst rank the next year when they tried. ***/ even there are far more several cases where students got far better ranks during the second attempt (I think we should start looking at the positive side and think positive) that's the reason why most students prefer long terms option if they didn't do better for the first time, and the student knows her situation, she has to better her rank next time, she has to work harder and deliver (assuming she has the caliber)....What I am trying to say is lack of money should not be the obstacle to the merit ones and also lack of money should not be the sole reason to fund someones education ....anyway this is my personal opinion.... 1000 bucks aint no big deal. The question here is whether she would be able to secure a seat at a good place and a decent job afterwards. Employers do look at the EAMCET rank while they recruit freshers. Is she considering a B.Sc - MCA path too? Stupid question - if she doesnt fare well in the first year, do we continue to fund her for the next three years? And who would take her responsibility if some of the Donors back-off after the first year - we can not ask her to discontinue her studies ....??? IF we are planning something for her, then lets plan for the entire duration of the course whatever it may be! I'm also speaking from the bad experience of one of the TP members who funded a student for the entire B Tech coure at REC Warangal.

The same thing was told to her.if she secures a seat then we can think.. she got 90% and 91% in 10th and Inter. Abt ranks..any rank after 800 is of same value ... As I am already associated with this..I am interested..

Vinayakam garu, I think it's a good idea for her to join Bsc and try for a better rank, I am with Mr.Vamsi on this , I think it's not very appropriate to fund private education worth 2 lakh when the person is outside the merit line (just becuase he/she is poor), the same money can be better used for other merit students who are poor and have govt seats with good ranks ......

19000 chaala pedda rank saar. Are you sure she is not being pushed into something that she is not capable of handling?

Her rank is 19000+ .She is having counselling on 8 th..I think. soon after the counselling she may contact me , after that I will let u know.
