sorry. God is how we perceive HIM to be.

Prasad garu, god is how we perceives HIM to be. I want to say something. People respect the collector and no one can't speak against her something of that sort. But one girl says that I quarrel occasionally with the collector and I win too. They all are surprised like how come this girl quarrels and could win over the collector. The truth is the girl happens to be the daughter of the collector. Similarly every person has his own relationship with god only known to god and him. we can't ridicule persons saying they can't know or understand god. Regarding the 'The Alchemist', I posted the good quotes in the discussion topic 'Inspirational Stories' under 'Religion' category. Check it.

The key word is - 'Making up the mind'. Yes, we are converging. Lakshmana said to Rama out of agony 'I will fight even with God for the sake of your cause', when he came to know that Rama was preparing for his exile. Rama smilingly told him 'What do you think of God? Do you think he is a person to be fought? How silly it is! God manifests only in the form of different persons, events etc.' I faintly remember in one of the stories of Tolstoy, wherein God asserts to a disppointed devotee that He manifested before the devotee not once, but thrice, but that man could not recognise it! (meaning that the devotee did three good deeds and hence had really 'felt' that God! Coming to that book 'The Alchemist', I presume that it must be a wonderful book. Otherwise it cannot use a word like 'conspiracy' in a favourable sense! Please give your opinion on that book, along with the author's details etc., once you finish it. In the light of our discussions, I am sure you can add something more on 'success'.

Prasad garu, you too explained victory with respect to individual. That is why I questioned what do you mean by 'sama samajam'. Anyway society is formed based on individuals only. If only each individual is clear about what he/she wants in his/her life and work for it despite the hurdles and difficulties, then such determination itself brings about positive changes in the society. So individuals must first look after themselves, make them self-sustained and simulatenously consider the society too. When it comes to me, by baba's grace, it is my laziness or my succumbing to problems rather than obstacles. I didn't face any obstacles in any of my good activities. Rather I got tremendous support everytime I tried. The reason why I couldn't be successful as per my definition is something that has to do with me and my psyche but not external reasons. I completely admit that what I am now is what I tried for. Thats it. All the good things are out of god's grace and my parents, brother, friends, relatives support. All the bad things are lack of action and determination on my part. But as far as I am concerned, I do not care anybody and anything, if at all I make up my mind. A decision is a decision. I can fight with god too:)) and you know the quarrel still continues........ :)) I am reading 'The Alchemist' and it is really wonderful. I have many questions. Because I failed in all the ideals(may not be the apt word) that I tried to put into practise. Faith, Patience, Belief, Positive Thinking, Visualization, Truthfulness and what not. Everything failed. "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it" - in 'The Alchemist'. Is it really true? If so, why god disposed the other way even after giving me the promise? So this is the reason of my fight with HIM:))

Prasad garu, I am not saying about agitations and all. I am only concerned with normal individuals and stressing the point that we too can do big things within our means provided we are united. If people digest and practise the 'win-win' attitude, any problem can be solved. Only if they become greedy and want to swallow everything, struggle starts. 'sama samAjaM' anEdi nAku arthaM kAlEdu. aMTE mI praSna pUrtigA arthaM kAlEdu.

Dear Prasanthi, Each of us is individually honest in converging towards a resonably fair definition on 'what is success'. However, as a society, we are pretending as if the definition is something else. There lies the malady, I fear. Hope you can pick the thread now. (What you have expressed seems to be something devoid of struggle, adventure and thrill. If 'noppimpaka & ta novvaka' has to be adopted, one may have to compromise in the goals at every stage. Hence, there seems to be no scope for any ambition in life as per that. Now, please elaborate from your end.)
