Ganguly Dropped!

Ganguly should have been given one more chance , as he did OK (not very bad) in the last test. Also he tried to improve his body language and fielding ..Wasim Jaffer should have replaced Gautam Gambhir as he scored only 2 or 3 runs in each innings and didnt do any good in 1st test also. Ganguly deserves one more chance.

Zimbabwe meeda gelupu kooda oka gelupena ________________________________________ This is obviously about the Captain. More over, the Captain is a part of the team, if not the most important part. Ganguly has been the ONLY CAPTAIN ( until Mike Vaughan recently) who managed to win a series against the Aussies in the last decade and if I am not wrong, Ganguly is the only captain to defeat Steve Waugh's team, ever! More over Ganguly's average over the last 3 years has been 43+ which is a very good average, next only to Tendulkar and Dravid

Okay Zimbabwe meeda Gelupu gelupu kaadu .. But 1. Name one Indian Captain who won a series agaisnt Pakisthan in Pakisthan 2. How many Indian Captains managed to level a series (almost winning it) against Australia in Australia? 3. Which captain got us 21 victories overall, there by standing at #6 amoing hte worlds most successful captains in the history fo Cricket. 4. Which captain got us the most number of victories against Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, England, Australia and the West Indies? _____________________________________________ but against the same kinda teams..ganguly scored 2 ducks :) ----------------------------- Didnt Tendulkar and Dravid score Ducks in Domestic Cricket? Check out whwere Lankans got all those 99 points from.... they were never successful against big teams

yes..on paper..jaffer replaced ganguly.. but truly..yuvraj and kaif r competing for the 6th place.. so selectors might have thought..its better to have another option for the opening spot than for the 6th place..and that how jaffer came into the team.. ofcourse..win over lanka is far better than win on zimbabwe.. if u look at ICC test ratings..srilanka had 99 points and very gud teams like SA,NZ had 100 pts..and zimbabwe only 27points..

Zaffer played consistently in the recent national matches.. __________________________________________ Against the teams that are weaker than Zimbabwe right? Even my grandmother would score a Hundread against the teams Wasim Jaffer has played

I wouldnt be surprised to see a team with 6 players from Mumbai/Baroda and the rest from Karnataka _____________________________________________ that too his last century came against the same weak bowling team.. _____________________________________________ Is it? Srilanka meeda Gelupu pedda Gelupaa? That too in India? Is Srilanka a great bowling team? and Tendulkar's last Centry came against Bangladesh which is as weak is Zimbabwe ------------------------ Sehwag is very much in the team and Jaffer didnt relace him. How can you say Yuvraj replaced when when both of them played the last test match? Its a simple equation .. Ganguly walked out and Jaffer walked in. It clearly tells us who replaced who.. and mind you we are talking about 14 .. not 11! \
