After all , I am also from Guntur... and am equally passionate about my birth place :-).Obviously, u will find folks visiting temples in traditional attire. normal gaa gudilo observe cheyyatam baagundadu ani ...cheyyaledu .. kaani ee sari Naaz center Anjaneya Swamy gudi , SVN colony Venkateswara swamy gudi ki vellinappudu tappaka gamanista .. :-) I am so disappointed that u found my name difficult to pronounce. Well, thats not my problem.. kudos to the increasing popularity of tp.com. Hi, I am Krishna . I stayed for 17 years in guntur . My primary education was basically in Vikas, Vignan.I moved to Hyd for my intermediate education and coaching for competitive exams .Later ,I went to Chennai for my undergraduation. Though, I was visiting Guntur in between for the holidays , I dint get to stay at length to look at things happening arnd. Finally after my undergraduation, I got some time to go around places. I should say , I dint find much difference between city life and life in Guntur except that there is no any discos etc ..Internet Cafes, Burger , Pizza joints n fast food centers in Ashok Nagar , Chandramouli Nagar , Brodipet are places where youth r hanging arnd . People seem to have embraced the western culture, but well within the boundaries. I feel theres nothing wrong in improving the lifestyle, provided it is in the limits. I am very disappointed that u didnt make any comments abt the young gentlemen of Guntur ;-) .
