Some people say that Gandhiji didn't like the split between India and Pakistan. But Patel and Nehru insisted on it so that Freedom can be attained. So Gandhiji didn't attend the Independence day celebrations.
I neither suppose nor oppose any of your arguments, I just submit my doubt to you all.
What do you say?

He was dictatorial in his style of function and thinking alike. He hated anyone who didn't toe his line of argument. No wonder he drove out Shri Netaji out of congress and replaced him with Nehru. Nehru the obedient, blue eyed boy was more than yes man. His attitude towards bhagat singh is most abhorrable. His continual child-like, stubborn and minority pleasing acts have costed heavily to Indians. He even committed India to pay crores of rupees to Pakistan for partition (if ur scrathing your head for sane reasons, I too was there). He just wanted majority to suffer so that his name is held high, no matter Bhagat Sngh / Netajis of India live or perish.
Can anyone answer me how non-violent it is to commit Indian soldiers to British Army to die like cannon fodder in Second World War (and we didn't even get proper recognition for our valiant services) ???
Having said all the above, I should say that after LokManya Tilak we had only Gandhiji who can bring masses together into the freedom struggle and emancipate harijans and girijans from Upper class opression of our society. If not for Gandhiji, the fate of the so-called third-rung and fourth-rung hindus in the society would have not improved to the par of this day.
Nehru's vision of modern India has shaped our country into an Industrialized giant and self sufficient agrarian society at the same time. He was the best PM we would ever have, despite the stupid commie and pinko stuff he levied on us due to his moronic passion for soviet style govt.
The moral is, we will have great leaders, only with some basic flaws bundled together. We get pitcher of amrut with a pinch of zahar.
