| Going by YOUR OWN news items ... and going by numbers ... from a statistical perspactive, the process is within the control limits even after the stike . There is no abnormal variation due to the strike as far as emergency cases are concerned!
Outpatients may have been affected but there are alternatives for them.

Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 7, Dec 2007 10:03:22 PM IST Yes,
Considering the state of affairs at Niloufer Hospital - that is quite normal. The deaths are either due to delay/helplessness on the patients part or due to the inefficiency of the Doctors. Numbers definitely tell us there is no impact of the strike!
Inefficiency of the doctors is a different issue which has nothing to do with the strike
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 7, Dec 2007 9:56:14 PM IST As per the reports, one of the patients died "AFTER RECEIVING THE TREATMENT" ... I dont understand how one can blame the striking medicos for this?

24 mandi lo 16 mandi itara aasupatrulanunDI praaNaapaaya sthitilO vachchinavaaru - As per yoru News ..
That means the the other hospitals expressed their inability to save the patients and when they lost all the hopes they brought them to Niloufer .. You CAN NOT BLAME THE NILOUFER staff for their deaths ..
So the actual number of deaths is 8 in 6 days!
Moreover ... The emergency cases are selcdon treated in Outpatient wards and the reporters must be confused to link deaths to outpatient facilities (If they have really meant it)

Exactly! There are other hospitals too ...
Moreover, the grief of losing the loved ones usually transforms into anger against the doctors who treated them and in case of strikes, it becomes anger against the doctors who DIDNT treat them
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 7, Dec 2007 9:30:24 PM IST Read my message completely ...
The Jr Docs went on strike for similar reasons in 2006 and called of the strike on Humanitarian grounds ... The Govt never fulfilled its promises and nobody cared about them the moment they called the strike off in 2006! Perhaps they have learnt their lessons well!
I was talking about 2006 not 2007!
