actually its done like this....
if he gets 10 for the first time, the prob is 3/36,
if he gets for the second time,the first time is not 10(obviously) and it should not be 7 also(if so,he will lose),then prob for that is (27/36)*(3/36)
if its for third time,then (27/36)*(27/36)*(3/36)
if its for fourth time........
and so upto infinity.......
by adding all those,u will get 1/3
or else,u can simply say,
7 - 6/36
10 - 3/36
required prob = [3/36]/[(3/36)+(6/36)] = 1/3
