but there is nothing wrong to try for it, what do you say? and people have proved by their personal examples that it is possible and if one person has achieved then what prevents others to try for it and achieve it too!

nijamyna premikulaku edurugaa lekunnaa prema elaa peruguthundo alaage idol ni choodakunna a true devotee can improve his devotion to an extent where he/she loses self identity and merges in God divine but if one attaches to idol he can not progress because of his physical entanglement with forms losing interest in thought of divine and see divinitee only in idols.

You are right Dyvadhinam gaaru, the so called scientists even refuse to probe in to this ancient practise brought to us by our elders simply because they want proof for everything before they attempt it and spiritual elevation can be proved only by giving experience to the faithfull followers who earn that deserving state by constant practise as per the directions given by our spiritual leaders.

Let us wait for eloberation of your posting SDB. In the mean while somewhere i read that idol worship is the beginning of devotion which culminates in constant rememberance of the divine and lead a life of a living dead person leaving the idol worship too since it obstructs further spiritual progress towards mergense with divine. And there were instances where once the person attains spiritual elevation he does not need idolatory since he loses body consciousness too.

Yes Jogarao garu, I agree. There is no use of knowing about all these truths unless they are followed honestly.

you are right Mr.Venugopal, but knowing is not enough one has to feel these spiritual conditions.

death is not the solution for all problems@Pavani gaaru! but the spiritual practise on correct lines continued through out life will make us spiritually alive and all our problems confronting us will get solved as they arise due to our wrongfull interference with the nature. Venugopal gaaru as you have mentioned reading scripture and books will help to some extent to understand but we have no use of books to develop that way of living spiritual life and once you are spiritually awakened through spiritual sadhana on correct lines , iam stressing correct line then shall we understand everything in life which automatically guides us towards our goal.

Well, Jogarao garu, you are asking us??? You can very well explain this to us. My understanding about this is, whatever man may think and do but as far as reaching God is concerned, he has to answer some final questions like - Is the mind pure? Does he practice non-injury? Does he think of God? There may be many austerities to follow, but I think these questions are sufficient to know if one is Godwards or not.

Some one says that idol worship do help to remember God, and some say it is meaningless to try to reach god through idol worship but all most everyone says that God is omnipresent and one has to serve other human beings since we believe that God is present in every one? Now the question is in spite of all this criticism why do people still stick on to rituals like homas ,abhishekas ,and even niluvu dopidis to prove his/her devotion to God? will that help? we Know how we crave to go to piligrimage to fulfil our oath to Gods(Mokkubadi) even by borrowing money if we do not have any or even collecting door to door. how far all this help one to reach/get GOd?
