Suspect3 says "I DIDN'T have anything against Mr.X." Didn't indicates the past tense, which suggests that he knows that Mr.X is dead, but the investigator only told him that Mr.X was attacked,not that he is dead. None of the other suspects referred to Mr.X in this way.

It might be Suspect 1, because all other answers are direct and suspect 1 'wishes' to be left alone.

I think it is the suspect no.3, is that right?
My deduction:
The 1st part of each answer tells the relationship of that suspect with the incident. Suspect 3 says "didnt have anything" may be he should have said "dont have anything.."

what was the question asked by the investigator?
other wise all seem to be the culprits .. because they are all like

I feel suspect1 because his very first response is "I didn't hurt Mr.X. and I wish you would leave me alone".
Because no one will say so.
Why should anyone leave alone?
One should say, you can ask whatever questions you want,if he is not the culprit.

A wealthy business man,by the name Mr.X has been murdered. An investigator questions 4 suspects who have not been told anything about the case. He approaches each of them separately, & none of them can hear what the others say. The investigator says to each "Mr.X was attacked tonight. What can you tell me about this?"
Suspect1: I didn't hurt Mr.X, & I wish you would leave me alone.
Suspect2: I consider Mr.X to be a good friend. I would never do anything to hurt him.
Suspect3: I didn't have anything against Mr.X, so why are you bothering me?
Suspect4: I may not like Mr.X, but I didn't do anything wrong.
Who seems like the most likely suspect, & why?
