Whoa ... the word "BIAS" was about the post .. and it was not a personal remark and I never accused you of making personal remarks too ..
And Yeah .. I COMPLETELY agree with the Negative points raised about Hinduism by others ...(For instance the caste system which happens to be a biggest drawback of Hinduism and anyone would accept that it overlived its time and its high time that there should be an end to that)
I also agree that every religion has Negatives and Positives ..
My my point of Contention here is that WHEN EVERY RELIGION HAS SOMETHING POSITIVE AND SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO TALK ABOUT WHY ARE PEOPLE TARGETING ONLY HINDUISM AND SPARING OTHERS ..
I would rather have appreciated an Athiest, if he had taken all religions to task .. ante gaani ..
Pointing out Negatives in only one religion and saying that Other religions can not be criticize is really atrocious ..
And my intention here is not to profess something and change anyone .. I kust want to place facts correct and contest any misinterpretation or Bias ..

I dont thinkchristianity should be discussed in the thread of kanchi sanakracharya's murder trial.
If you guys have a problem with christianity, you can just start a thread on that.

I NEVER LIKED PUTTAPARTI SAIBABA FOR THE KIND OF TRCKS HE USED TO PLAY ON THE MINDS OF PEOPLE .. BUT AFTER SEEING MOTHER TERESA AQUIRNG SAINTHOOD IN THE NAME OF A MIRACLE THAT NEVER HAPPENED .. I DEFINITLEY HAVE SECOND THOUGHS.

About Hospitals and helping hte Poor even Veerappan Did a lot of Sercive to the villagers around the Satyamangalam jungle and a freind of mine form the Kollegal town told me he even ran a hospital (i'm not sure though)
Its really a miracle that he never got caught until he fell serioulsy ill .. shall we call him St. Veerappan too? ( Pardon me for this Bullshit but I just couldnt stop myself from posting this)

Well .. I'm confused do u mean to say ONLY HINDUS KEEP THE LEPROSY PATIENTS AWAY AND THE CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES EMBRACE THEM TO THE HEART?

My opinion is based on what I have been seeing and if I'm proved wrong then I dont hesitate to stand corrected but I would definitely need substantial (Statistical in your terms) against my line of thought
May be a Hyderabadi can give me a comparitive picture of the number of missionaries and the quality of their services in the slum areas of Old City and the New City .. (The old city slum dwellers are Devout Muslims and Hindus who wouldnt convert because of political and sociaological reasons a where as the people at Secunderabad are vulnerable .. if it comes out that the missionaries are doing same service to the people willing to convert as well as NOT willing to convert then they must be appreciated)

I was talking about the apparant Bias in yoru posts (Pardon me if I'm wrong) .. I have seen strong reaction for you only when the missionaries were criticized and U didnt bother to speak a word when the other religion was insulted .. so I was just trying to make myslef clear
and if you feel that its your phiolosophy to react when other religions were criticized and sit back & relax when your own religion was subejected to the same ( and well well well I assume that You are a Hindu .. and if you are not then have my apologies and there is no need for any discussion on this point)

I myself have seen a case at the American Hospital, Visakhapatnam sometime in 1985 when a Patient was refused treatment because he didnt like Christianity (as far as I rememberhis name was Parandhamaiah and was subsequently treated at the KGH)

There are many converts in Repalle and Narsapuram areas of Costal Andhra which includes all castes .. would a Dalit convert be allowed to mingle with freely with a Brahmin, Kapu or a Kamma Convert, even though all are Christians?

How many missionaries in India help the poor and "not force conversions" at the same time?
I dont think Mr. Muthy insulted Christianity and for that matter no one has a right to insult any religion (including ones own) ...
As far as I know Red cross is not a Christian Missionary organization .. and I'm making a clear distinction between Christians and Christian Missionaries ..
And How many Lep patients are being treated by the missionary hospitals without even a single appeal for conversion ( this includes even the Teresa group)
If you want me to list such kinds of services then I can list even Puttaparthi Saibaba's Hospitals which perform even Heart Surgeries free of cost .. but that doesnt mean he's above others .. for that matters thats also Business since he expects the patients to become his devotees --
ITS INTERESTING THAT MURTY'S COMMENTS ABOUT MISSIONARIES EVOKED A STRONG REACTION FROM YOU WHERE AS FILTHY COMMENTS ABOUT HINDUISM DIDNT :(
