Hi All,
I saw the movie 3 times. Movie is very good, don’t trust web reviews. 5th day in Hyderabad all shows full crowds. Veerabadhra movie will do long run.
Pokiri movie will be only first 3 or 4 weeks, it doesn’t have long run stuff. Be wait….

About Our Rating
Storyline:: Bangaram (Pawan Kalyan) is a reporter for a local TV channel. His ambition is to work for International channel, BBC. In the process of getting an approval letter from Mukesh Rishi (Peddi Reddy), he happens to travel and stay in Kurnool for a couple of days. Local factionist Bhuma Reddy (Austosh Rana) to get the name and power nearby misleads Peddi Reddy and arranges marriage to his brother with Peddi Reddy’s daughter, Sandhya (Meera Chopra). On the flip side, Sandhya loves Vinay (Raja) and decides to leave with him to states. How Bangaram helps her out from the shackles of Bhuma Reddy forms the rest of the story.
Casting Performances:
Pawan Kalyan did a spectacular job. The character of his is more of action base with a glimpse of comedy in the foremost part. All the action episodes are performed with his unique flavor. Fights are the main asset of the movie.
Pawan Kalyan Performed brilliantly in the following scenes.
1) The Rusthum fight where he saves a pet dog.
2) Where he imitates satirically Mukesh Rishi and Meera Chopra
3) Intervals bang bull fight.
4) Climax episode.
The following dialogues which are delivered elegantly by Pawan Kalyan busted the theatre.
1) Baga Baga Mande Bhoomi porala nundi puttukochede Bangaram
2) Naaku Chitikana velu kadipey vopika vunna chaalu Bhooma Reddy lanti vallani vandhamandhini edhurkuntaanu
Others: Meera Chopra looked sensuous on screen. Performance of her is also good. Reemasen as a co reporter to Pawan Kalyan did well. She performed in the song Maro Masthi. Mukesh Rishi as a father of Meera Chopra and as a faction leader did well. Asutosh Rana got more footage in the movie. His rugged looks and weird behavior on the screen enhanced the severity of the role. He did a great job. Venumadhav, Ali and Shakeela has separate comedy track. It did not fare much. Others chipped in.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Story, Screen Play :
It’s a faction main story. It is all about a guy who fights for a girl to help her out from the cruel factionists. The story is not gripping enough. Screenplay is reasonable. First half of the movie is dealt with a mix of comedy and action. Second half is totally based on action. Screenplay in the second half is awful.
Screenplay-Direction: Direction by Dharani is good in patches. The first half an hour, fights, post interval first 45mins is appealing. Climax is awfully designed. Hero characterization is not designed in an appealing way. Jai Sambho song is taken in an innovative way. It looked good on the screen. Dialogues by Akula Siva are a rage.
Other Departments:
Music by Vidyasagar is ok. Re Recording of the movie is good. All the songs looked passable but the negative aspect is it dint have the trade mark of Pawan Kalyan. Second half should have had three songs. Here is the order of the songs.
1) Jai Sambho is canned on a car in a travel to Kurnool. It’s designed in an innovative way.
2) Egire Chilakamma is canned in a market between Meera Chopra and Pawan Kalyan. It’s more a counter kind of a song.
3) Chedugudu Ante Bayam is an item number which is canned in a set. Pawan Kalyan danced well in the songs.
4) Maro Masthi Maro is canned in the sets between Reema Sen and Pawan Kalyan. It’s a ok song with mere steps from Pawan Kalyan.
5) Ra Ra Bangaram is the highlight of all the songs. It’s come in a good demanding situation as well. Showers of praises surrounded in the hall by the audiences. Pawan Kalyan elegant walking style is an asset in the song.
Editing by VT Vijayan is awful. Pre- Climax should have been edited a bit crispier. Length of the movie is also a concern. Camera by Gopinath is not up to the mark. Close up shots are minimal in the movie. Fights and songs are taken in a good way. Fights by Vijayan are at their best. Rusthum fight, Bull fight, post interval and climax fight enhanced the severity of the movie.
Analysis: : First half of the movie is good enough. Pawan Kalyan’s power packed performance and stunts are the main positive points of the movie. First 45 minutes post interval is appealing. Climax is a weakling. Story backdrop and Pawan’s characterization are the main negative aspects of the movie. Overall it’s a film that is canned more to satiate masses and it might do well in B and C centers.
