Balakrishna's New Movie Launch

The tide, it seems, is turning in favor of Balakrishna.
Veerabhadra, released last week-end, has got tremendous opening. And quite unlike his previous movies, the word of mouth is also very good.
And close on the heels of it, his new movie for Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions got on to the floors yesterday.
The movie, to be directed by the eminently successful P Vasu, looks a winner right from the start.
Look at the cast for starters. With Balakrishna are Meera Jasmine, Sneha, Navneet Kaur, Jayapradha. Music is by Guru Kiran (this is his first straight Telugu movie). Camera is by Sekhar V Joseph.
Vakada Apparao produces the venture. At the muhurat yesterday, Dasari Narayana Rao gave the first clap, Mohan Babu switched on the camera and D Ramanaidu directed the first shot.
A galaxy of big names including Aswini Dutt, MRV Prasad, B Gopal, Addala Chanti, Boyapati Sreenu, Ambika Krishna were at hand.
The producer said the movie will begin formal shooting by the first week of May. The movie will release in September.
Vasu was happy to work with Balakrishna. And as he revealed emotionally, Vasu's father was a make-up man to NTR, father of Balakrishna. So in a sense, the mantle has passed on to the next generation.
The new movie will have mother sentiment, yet the flavor will be decidedly youthful. Three heroines are in the cast and Jayapradha has a pivotal role.
