well,i always had a doubt why gal provoke guys to elope with them and finally blame guys!! what do u think the reason r/why cant they be cool n loyal in love
Posted by: Mr. Sameer At: 11, Feb 2003 2:52:57 AM IST Girl comes into son's family?? does that mean that the guy is not related to the girl's family? the guy doesn't come into girl's family? Maybe the change in the thinking should start from here.
And there is no legal rule that the girl has to get the guys last name. It is just another practice.
People do tell...that the boy's property share is so and so... agreed.. but, will the guy accept if the girl's parents also told that the girl's property share is so and so.. and will get the property only when the guy gets his property from his parents??
Guys, i say stop the arranged marriages system. Let the guy and girl pick their partners. This will solve the problem of dowry.

Posted by: Rajesh At: 11, Feb 2003 2:38:16 AM IST Yeah. But, nobody asks the dowry directly. They always say 'give whatever u want for ur daughter'. And why is that the girl's parents never get to say 'give whatever u want for your son' ? If the son can inherit his parents property, so can the daughter..
