| we can't follow traditional system of Gurukula type as well as we cannot adopt montessory type which is effective for the present generation, we lose interest in tradition and cannot adopt modernism due to modesty.

2. Every one says it's not suitable, appropriate, practical, applicable, so on but no one suggests the required one.
3. Some examples are suicide bid and long hours by the name of special classes.
4. Are We really intrested in educating all or some?
5. Does it highlights our weaknesses in the soceity where we live?
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 19, Sep 2003 7:11:49 PM IST Now lot more changes new syllabus has been included, Ask NCERT people, they do worked quite a lot, it is not possible to expect sudden change. It will take time, and each states follow their own rules in school education, there is lot of discrimination between school education.hence wait and see.
Certainly there is changes, new curricula had been implemented already in so many schools.
By short, sure our country educational system will be a good one in near future.

Posted by: Mrs. Saila Sarigala At: 19, Sep 2003 11:57:37 AM IST i think the indian education system focuses too much on techinical subjects like maths and science and lesser on humanitarian subjects like sociology and politics. infact, in most states management subjects like costing, finance and logistics are ignored in the school level!
school lo pilalki math and science lo marks ostene intelligent anipnchukuntaru, english lonu, music lonu aithe waste gaallu ane brand advertisement jarugutondi. thats why they grow up and try to all become enggs in order to make their life 'worthwhile' and their parents 'proud'
system lo attitude problem undi. if they introduce humanities and management subjects in school level, then children will be exposed to a wider choice of 'good' careers and we will have leaders from different faculties, thus adding more value to indian people and india's future.
Posted by: Ms. G Sunita At: 24, Apr 2003 10:40:52 AM IST Indian system is not that wrong as people assume. But i could say there r few things wich should be updated. For example, let students get the exposure.. This can be done by tutors by relating the topics with the real world and let the students have some practical experience. Have open discussions and maintain good standards. By performing extra circular activities like Role-plays, group discussions etc , its easy to improve the standards.
Posted by: Mr. Rajendra Rowthu At: 13, Mar 2003 1:10:19 AM IST Sth is wrong in our blood and culture. So do not blame the system we have adopted. See how many scintists are coming out from India?
How many KCs are there? We can play the game but finishing is difficult, ecxept sachin and Yuvraj.
