Reservations in the system of education

Ha i dont agree with u swapna... Reservations r not to give a spicy fish to eat it shud be like how to catch a fish.. By the grace of our beloved consitution some sects of the ppl r enjoying the reservations...ok thats not a problem.but how can it is implemented in jobs also. The person who obtain 0 marks in Entrance exam will bcom ur boss some day...bulshit isint... And he will give u orders to do work.Then what is happening they dont know how to do work and all the govt organisations r under recesion... Is it the way u want and take india forward.. Ok once u provided reservation and he got job everything then how can his son and daughter also still can get reservation.. To be mention our Ex president Mr K R Narayanan himself used the reservation to get seat for her daughter for medical college seat..Who sad it is... Who sepressed whom... Its human nature that intelligents will supress brainless...its happend thru out the world..some using their brains some using thier power and some in another way... As u said the reservations shud go to tribes..in the villages...We dont have first come needs like foood,power and education in most of the tribal villages and who is going to tribal vilalge u and me and who?no body goes until elections comes... Recently i saw a program in Some tv channel in which they showed a tribal village in orissa just 200km from bhuvaneshwar...Still today they dont have power,drinking water,food nothing..... How can we implemnet reservations in such tribal villages even we cant provide food for them..if they dont even have food and if u go and ask then to go to school and enjoy reservations who will go and study... TO be sepcific what happens if u give reservations to brainless ppl...In my place one person got MBBS seat and some how he studied and passed and got govt job and enjoying his life..One day he got Zandes which he himself cant found and finally died bcoz he is drunker..Thats what ppl will do if they get thinks free...Only ppl will know if they get it by hardworking ....if u give them free they will missuse...

"Reservations are just a TEMPORARY solution" "the govt is NOT showing any interest for a PERMANENT solution" So I agree reservations are not the way for the problem, yet i support reservations...coz i lover irony...thanx

Man reservations are crap.chadive vallani chadagottatame reservations ichi,in engineering u get a seat eazily with reservation even though u have negative marks,but whats the use in my batch all reservation candidates studied engr for atleast 5 yrs and after coming out they are lazy to look for jobs. Man just dont bull shit saying Fc cant take decisions and all,do u have any proof for backing u r statement.

One has to realize if you are providing opportunity to one then, at the same time you are denying opportunity to another person who is more eligible. Underprivileged (economically poor not on caste basis) people could be provided special grants/allowances/money for preparation of any competition. Govt. has to help them monetarily only. But if you defend that an incompetent person should be given the opportunity on the bases of caste or race, then you are endangering a Nation’s future. It is not good for any nation. R e s e r v a t i o n s kill the incentive to work hard and earn something on merit.

I am of the opinion that there should be scholarships awarded to the needy people so that they can afford a equivalent offensive in the fight for their right say in education from the very childhood for poor people. By doing this you are still making all work equally but not giving someone a easy way out just because he/she is from a particular race or caste. In current system some one has to work so hard to get 97% in a exam to secure a addmission and someone from a particular caste/race can get that with 50%, i mean c'mon how fair is that and who are we to deicde this division. As government our job should be to create as much a possible a equal platform for all to play and then leave it for the best person to win.
