| I am not an expert in this feild.. well, lets see...
Ms Anshu, if you want to access any thing on some other PC remotely (whether its a document or vedios or Images.. whatever), you need to know the IP number of the system or the name of the system and you have to connect to the PC using a telnet. ok!
its like
telnet yahoo.com
if the remote PCs name is yahoo.com or it could be an IP number.
then, logon to a user.. so it requires a user ID and a password. Only then can you acces any devices that are attached to the PC. clear???
now, about the specific thing you are talking.. that is meeting a person on net, well I dont knwo any provisions by anysite.. you do one thing!!! (this is not the best solution)...
keep the image in yahoo groups.. that means you are sharing the same file.. now, make chages to it and upload.. open a yahoo messenger and talk to the person!!! over.. but its tiresome to keep on uploading on yahoo server and all.....
try this!! if its not tedious...

Posted by: Miss The Girl At: 18, Jul 2003 11:08:47 AM IST If one m/c wants to communicate to other in different location, it is known that we need to know the IP, which is an known issue.According to Anusha, which i would belive as WAN connectivity, so she would have some source that would take data to backbone ISP, which is VSNL in india.
According to my understandings she would have PC connect to V.32 modem that would have signals with the local ISP[satyamonline, vsnl, etc.] and to backbone ISP.
Let me know if the info provided as per the requirement or suggest where i m wrong.
To know more on this reply me.

Posted by: Mr. Sreenivasa Reddy V At: 30, Jun 2003 1:47:12 PM IST yes anusha, i agree with u.
But while configure the connection,
We need to specify the IP address of Host,
If you have a internet connection it may be dialup or cable what ever it. We Have an IP address.(it is provided by ISP)
You wants to communicate a system with in the Internet, u should specify this IP Address.(Using IP Address the Socket will be exchange the data with each other.)
Any one system is not in the direct connection (means a system which having internet connection via proxy.) then we can’t able to connect another one.
i hope u will got an idea.

I will check it out
but I did not get your ideology,
I need to connect a computer outside India, might be through internet only.

go thru this link u can find free trail version of PCAnywhere.
http://www.pcanywhere-review.com/PcAnywhere-download-free/pcanywhere_download_free.htm
But u should consider the following
if u want to connect a system with in internet, The communicating peers (Computers ) should be direct connection,i mean to say it should not be under proxy.. like so on..
