sare. it seems 'money in weddings' = 'dowry' for u guys. all the rest of the money which is spent (which may or may not be necessary) is quiet well justified as 'inevitable.'
ilanti logic unna meeku dowry kuda 'status symbol' enduku kaado mari.
anyway, just gave my 2 cents.
