General Forum: Information Technology | Doubt ... | |
| Hi Madhavi,
This could make sense, according to my understandings Truck link is a link that carry multiple VLANs,Trunk links are used to transport VLANs between devices and can be configured to transport all VLANs or just a few okay,,
Coming to the point of aggregation,
A dynamic port can belong to only one VLAN at a time, multiple hosts can exist on a dynamic port only if they all belong to the same VLAN.
I believe since ports 2&3 in VLANa which is completely apart from 4&5 [VLANb] would not able to truck.
Please correct if I am wrong as I am currrently under this concepts.

Doubt reg' L2 Protocols
what happens when we try to Aggregate(also called as Port Trunking in some places ) 2 ports from two different VLANs.
Scenario is like this :- Ports 2 & 3 are in one Vlan say VlanA & Ports 4 & 5 are in one vlan say VlanB. what'll happen if u try to aggregate (also called as trunk) Ports 2 & 4 ? will it be successfull? should it be?
