Posted by: Mr. SURYANARAYANA MURTY AYYALASOMAYAJULA At: 7, Jul 2003 8:50:24 AM IST We all know that Telugu lipi has undergone modifications
at many stages.Very recently a few "achchulu" like "Lu", "Loo"
were dropped from common use.
To make the lipi rich, is it not acceptable to add letters
to represent sounds which are absent in our lipi?
In our lipi we do not have a letter to represent the sound "Fa".
We are managing with the letter "Pha" from "Pa" "Pha" "Ba" "Bha".....
Is it wrong to add a new letter to represent the sound "Fa".
It may be a new letter or the letter "Pha" with a dot in the middle
like some of our "Hallulu".
This is my openion.I request all our telugu people to think about it.
If I am wrong anywhere please let me know.
