| There are number of examples but to quote one:
In these days of competition,majority of people who seek employment do not give honest and frank replies to the questions posed to them during the interview fearing that their honest response in negative may effect the chance of their getting selected to the post they apply for.
Again people who want to impress others with their background exaggerate about themselves to be exposed by the same person at a different situation there by losing the association of that person alltogether.
Similar is the case in marriages,business etc..etc...
we have one reply in our mind but we change the reply by the time it comes out of our mouth.

Iam addressing the board.
Because of external influences and internal conflicts ,people forget a while about the consequences of their response to a given situation which is common in every one without exception.

Here the question is why do you hesitate to accept a situation when you are not sure of its consequenses or when you are doubtful? So why should you be compelled to say yes when you pretty well know that you mean no?
Rather why do you say yes and feel sorry later for saying so instead of no .Can any one clarify this?
