Posted by: Mr Truth At: 6, Mar 2004 0:10:12 AM IST There are many people in India and all over the world that way. It's not just here.
IT TOTALLY DEPENDS ON HOW YOU SHAPE THEM.
Not all can become Scientists/Engineers/ Doctors.

Yes, I understand. After all you cannot get everything. You have to sacrifice somethings.
With India, most of the time I miss is my family and affection. On the other hand I love technology.
How many people in India study and work at the same time ? Here they get to know what their responsibility is. In India generally they don't. Like wise there are so many aspects.
What I see in India is the people are getting more Westernized than the Indian People here. It may not be true for each and every one but it is.
If you feel so much, you can always go to India for vacation and send them for dancing classes.
Coming to Math, my cousin is sending his son for a special tuition. He is in 6th Grade but learning 9th Grade Math now. Also you can start teaching Math at home even before school starts or well in advance.

That's True.
Moreover, I see the kids here learn more of Indian tradition then they do in India nowadays. I have some family whose kids go to dancing, upadesham & all the tradition Indian courses.
How many kids who are in India doing this ?
As I said before, Mom is the first teacher for the kid. So, it's all in your hands how you shape them.
