| When we say we are leading in IT field which are headed by foreigners why can't we take the imply the same situation here. 100% employees are Indians and CEO is foreigner on Indian soil.
Just because of IT we had so many internal problems. There was certain distinguition between people.
IT people and Other employees. It is difficult for a Govt employee to reside in hyd in several areas. Naturally it is tending towards bribing. Every thing has become expensive. A person in hyd was peacefully leaving earlier.
I can give you so many statistics of such kind (about the percentage of cheap labour). I think you are unable to get my point. We should also see positive side of the coin. If we go on trying to dig on one side you will be ending up with nothing.
I don't understand when the debts are cleared that too in recent 5 years. Am I dreaming or what????
You know what is the debt per head of Andhra now and prior to 10 years. 35 years back we were not having these many debts for your kind information.
Come on with some facts so that I accept my statments are foolish. Don't give off the statements like our political leaders....

Thats just a foolish statement. Its because of those software projects and BPO what soever called projects, we have improved our economy from the past few years. Indian have cleared debts in the past 5 yrs more than in the past 43 yrs. How could we do that? The so called Cheap Labour occupied 25% of seats in Microsoft Corporation. Some friends said that Indian developed english language under the british rule. So do we need to learn Italian or Latin under this so called rome Rule??????

We have been developing since 1947. You said we are getting respect due to IT. But do you know how are we treated in europe countries? We are called CHEAP labour. I don't think CHEAP labour is a respectable name. Most of the people are finding us competitive because of our CHEAP labour.
2nd biggest advatage we have is ENGLISH which was developed in British Era (Under a foreign rule). What you said was right. It is not enough if you depend on agriculture. We need to do some other things to develop.
We should not compare India with so called developed countries which does not have 1/8 of the history that of India.
You must see the proportionality (resource, population,land etc) when you compare two countries. You can't just go on following blindly what ever they follow.
I never said world bank policies are bad. They are quite good for western population and geography. But are they suitable to our country.I do admit reforms should be there but they should not be violent.
If you don't give priority to agriculture what will you do by these reforms. 80% of Indians are dependent on agriculture. You ought to give priority to agriculture. I am not against to IT development. It must be simultaneous.
I have seen the culture in western countries but don't want to really use the filthy terminology that is sponatenously coming when I see people over there. I don't think we need to learn culture from western countries.
We are still existing as INDIA (unity in diversity) because of our attitude and culture and the moral values we give to the relations. Had it been the same case with US or UK they would have had several splits in the country by this time or might be non existing.
When an Indian ruling the other country (don't remember the name) our media has given it a hype saying our Indian is ruling the country. When an Indian is leading westindian team we felt very happy about their triumphs. When an Indian was part of the space shuttle team (kalpana chawla) we gave her respect but never thought that she has married to an american and settled there.
When an yougoslavian was serving several poor and orphan people we never argued or banned her from our country instead we called her mother India. When she got nobel prize we felt it was for our country.
When we got independence we have elected congress unanimously with out looking the party's orignator A.O.hume.
After getting independence we have not demolished cotton's dams instead gave him respect.
We had both advantages and disadvantages by foreigners.
When she (foreigner) can do nothing with out our(Indians) permission she can't even take a pie...
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST I am also an oridnary Indian and unable to digest the fact that a foreigner is going to be our PM..
I am giving my self all these reasons and keeping cool. Happy to share my feelings here.

Sarma, Software companies are not becoming Prime Ministers of India. Instead they are creating employment for us and helping us develop economically. Today India is getting respect in the world because of IT. We have been doing agriculture for centuries. It only helps us to feed ourselves(but still thousands are dying of hunger). If you want the country to develop economically and compete with the world we have to do more than just agriculture.
You say that World Bank policies are bad. Do you think western people are fools? No..they are not. Nobody is dying of hunger in those countries. They have developed so much within short period by following good policies whereas indians though existing for thousands of centuries could not develop because of Slave mentality and Selfish policies.
If you come to western countries you will see how much developed they are when compared to India. You will get an exact idea where India is lacking.
If you don't want reforms India will just exist like that for another thousand years.
If you want it to develop and compete with others you have to do some reforms. Though it will be hard on some sections for some period, finally everyone will enjoy the fruits.
We lost self-respect when we couldn't rule ourselves and asked a foreigner, just because she is married into the Royal family to rule us. You don't lose self-respect when you take loan from a bank and try to develop.

I am unable to understand what discussion was going on here.
Was it about a foreign originator ruling the country?
Was it about the CMs?
Was it about the originator of congress party????
Was it about looting for 5 years here on wards??
In a small discussion here we are unable to converge our ideas.
We speak about unity in diversity and argue about foriegn origination.
I am not in favor of foreign PM for INDIA. But when it is out of our hands we have to adjust ourselves.
We INDIANS are really selfish.. We speak about 1600 british emporers.

Are we not slaves so far who ever is working in US,UK and other countries just for the sake of money leaving our mother land. We say it all our development but we can't accept a foriegner in the biggest PUBLIC SERVANT job.
We say our migration to other countries and dominating in other countries is development. we say borrowing money from a bank managed by an younger country is revolution in financial policies towards development.
If world bank say not to recruit people in government sector we bend our head and dance like do-do-basavannas.WE HAVE SOLD OFF OUR SELF RESPECT LONG BACK. Some people had just now wokeup to realise the fact that we could not find leader in 100 crores of people.
We could not find a leader so far who leads us to development with out bending head infront of some stupid countries..

Kanth,I heard they already started reversing the CBN system to enable themselves to loot easily.
The govt employees declared themselves unaccountable for the next 5 years.

It is very surprising that most the people are not able to digest the fact that Sonia becoming our Prime Minister. Let the population be 1 billion or 10 billion, the leader can be only one.Hence please do not lament that why we can not select an Indian.
Whoever may be the leaders,when occupied the top postion of majority party,they deserve credibility and respect.
