I guess it sounds more like 'saaNvi' I do not know if I spelled it out correctly in telugu. I like 'Maitri' than 'Maitreyi'.

Radhika, Last week my friend is blessed with a baby girl and they named her "Saanvi" (one of the names of Goddess Lakshmi)...I heard this name first time and thought it is very striking name...
