One of the reasons for the hatred for Jayendra is a deeply felt animosity among hindus towards brahmins.
the feeling is on account of the various practices that have been followed for so many hundreds of years.
The brahmins wrote some literature called the Vedas and then said these are the ultimate in knowledge to be followed by everyone. As long as communication was confined to a select few, they could get away with it. Today that is no longer possible. With education reaching wider proportions, TV, Newspapers bring the world together, human minds are being made to think, question, analyse and decide.
These are turbulent times and one can only expect more such things to happen
