let me give a situation: if ur mother murmurs some thing against ur wife/hubby/friend.... the person sees and asks u.. will u say the truth.. word by word

yep, you are soo right Mrs.Sneha abt lying to ppl who trust you the most. One simple lie can create so many misunderstandings & rifts in the relationship. It takes quite some time to regain that trust. hmm abaddalu cheppani varu leru. manam frequent ga easy ga abadallu cheputune untam, kaani avi evari manasu ki badha pettey vi kaadu kada? okavela, ala badha petteyvi aithe, it's better to hear it from the horse's mouth rather than from a 3rd person or through other sources. I mean, we lie to our friends, (sometimes families) and colleagues regarding so many things, but they are just something that we make up to avoid getting into situations. Andaru abaddalu cheptune untaru everyday life lo, and there's no other way around it. konni sarlu honest ga cheppina, badha avocchu, so it's better to lie in certain situations.

If you tell your boss that you are late because of the traffic jam or if you avail sick leave to watch a cricket match in the television, it may be alright, but donot speake lies with your family members.Because they are the people who think of your welfare etc.... I did lie may a time ... and of course I lie everyday in bed ... I agree with u crocy -its not a lie and yeah good job Doboy! How many of us are sure that Gandhiji never lied in his life? ____________________________________________

Hi, PWOR, I will bear that in my mind, next time. The mesg is for me only r 4 others posting in capitals as well? ----- As long as the lie does not hurt anyone and u get going, i mean get ur thing done, it is probably acceptable. It has become part and parcel of one's life. The Accountant say's a lie, when the supplier calls for payment. The boss say's he is not available, when someone calls. Sales people say so many things to sell their products. Many have got decent jobs by telling a lie here and there. U probably get tempted to a lie, becoz at times people dont believe u, even when u have said the truth.

Lies are like tyres of vehicles they are must for smooooooth running of LIFE.. if u over lie It will burst.. it's the time to change (mind set) and praceed.... The other factor is FATE.(F). YOU remove "F" from LIFE ..see what remains..

We have been told so many moral stories right from childhood by our parents, grandparents,the repercussions of telling lies. We have been taught at schools to always tell the truth. We have moral science subject. We have read about Mahatma Gandhi. We know the slogan "Satyavema Jayatha". Inspite of all this, we tell our children to speak the truth, while we ourselves would have lied, however big or small, whether it would have affected somebody or not? whether on official or personal matters, whether to parents or spouse, to that matter to our own children. To wife we tell a different lie, like i dont drink, smoke tc. To children, to discourage them to have chocolates, we tell them it is over, though we might have stored it somewhere in the house. We tell office, we are late becoz of traffice jam, must have taken sick leave when there is indo-pak match? So most of us would have told atleast one lie in their life time. Hope u agree. :)
