I don't know about languages but I doubt about learning ourselves ! Have you ever found a single lesson on late Sree. Pingali Venkayya ? either in Telugu, Hindi or Urdu?
Probably you may find in some english book of British Author! It's not a surprize !
Radio's are now broad casting about domestic Hygiene which we are not aware of these things somewhere 1960's. We are poor in learning things and it is nothing to do with language. Those wo master the language enjoy the literature but not everyone in the soceity. The rest of the people are simply users. Our state govt has to recognize the language and should try to improve the usage of Telugu language in offices, schools and business centers.
Children sould not waste their time in learning languages alone; In fact it should be optional to their choice and capacity. One language is enough. The time spent for leraning other languages can be spared for learning subjects effectively.

I am not aware of that thread. Thank you for this information. Please continue making funny remarks along with 'gunny' solutions. I am really enjoying all of it, but for things like 'L', 'Grins' etc. (Unfortunately I am not familiar with these 'symbols' and new acronyms.)
