| Vachaspati gaaru, did you see Illaiah's article in Indian Express last Saturday. Like a holy-cow he was talking about equality. On the other hand, he was instigating so called Dalits against other communities. Saddest part is that even Newspapers of Indian Express standards are falling to this kind of popularity mongers' tricks.

Let me say something.
Earlier Ilayaiah used to write for The Hindu. But now he is writing for Indian Express and Deccan Herald. Regarding his popularity mongering, he will be in danger, when the time comes, if he did anything wrong. It's not the mistake of the Press, they are his individual opinions and News Papers will not take responsibility with the articles written by individuals. The Press will be responsible for news items and editorials only, not articles and columns.

Frankly speaking, writing such kind of books of no cause. Because for the downtrodden conditions of Dalits, Brahmins are no longer responsible now !! The origins may be historically places, but the major chunk of political share belong to Dominant Castes, not Brahmins. Brahmins, once absentee landlords, lost theri 'agrahatas' (lands) in almost all the states. And their lands were grabbed by these so called Dominant Castes. Brahmins are political weak now. Ilayaiah grudge against them is an wasteful exercise. Instead of targetting Brahmins, it's better to target or united Dalits in India, it's almost impossible. Because political parties who belong to different Dominat Castes have already shared their vote banks dividing Dalits in almost all the states. Dalits are with BCs now, almost. It's BCs + Dalits are ruling India with minimal exceptions and in majority cases.
