Also, this is perhaps the first time in the History if Cricket that a Captain Returning successfully from an overseas tour was dropped! Is this wat you call "PAWAR" Play?
Ans why Wasmin Jaffer who averages around 20% and who has been a biiiiiiig failure?
Why not someone like Akash Chopra who did better?

Whats Tendulakar's / Laxman's form for the last 2 years? If 79 can be Good when the Pitch was flat ... 40 is better when the Pitch was helping Muralidharan

Thats y they selected Wasim jaffer..inorder to replace gautam gambhir..
Laxman and sachin played well in the 1st innings..79 &109..
Ganguly is out of form from last few years and two times duck to zaheer khan in ranjees which shows his grt form..

If Ganguly's knock is not decent what about Tendulkars? Tendulkar scored his 34th century 1 year back. Hasnt he been given one year?
Whats Gautam Gambhir's contribution? Why cant he be dropped?
Why do we need Laxman in that case? we can drop him too!

Anyhow we can take Ganguly only at 6th place where there is tough competition..among yuvraj,kaif and ganguly..only one can be selected..obviously yuvraj must be selected..as per his recent form..
I agree wid the selectors decision
