Death sentence in the cases of terrorism is NECESSARY BUT NOT SUFFICIENT.
But one interesting aspect of this particular case is - DID AFZAL GET FAIR TRIAL? If the trial was fair and charges were proved beyond doubt then there is no point in waiting, just eliminate him.

Dont kill me for this .... MANY OF THE TERRORISTS WORK FOR MONEY AND A FEW OF THEM FOR RELIGION. THE ONLY WAY TO HANDLE THESE GUYS IS TO TERRORISE THEM .. YEAH .. TERRORIZING THE TERRORISTS AND TAKING THE WAR BACK TO THEM .. BY ENSURING THAT THE FAMILIES OF SLAIN TERRORISTS DONT RECEIVE ANY MONEY AND DO SOMETHING AFTER DEATH (LIKE THEY DID IN VIETNAM .. SOMETHING LIKE DRENCHING THE DEAD-BODIES IN THE BLOOD OF PIGS SO THAT THE DEAD DONT GET JANNAT).

The equation is simple - Will this guy be more harmful alive or dead? One should think about it and take a decision ...
Doesnt this case justify FAKE ENCOUNTERS? I mean the prosecution and the police gather all the evidence to prove this guy guilty and finally (if he is let off) the home ministry over rules the Supreme Court... IN this scenario wont the Police be compelled to eliminate people thru encounters instead of trying them at the court of law?
