| BTW I will speak to Janaki sometime today, make him go through the whole post and see what he says. Whatever he says, I will stick to that bottom line. Like I said before, I choose family over friends.

Posted by: Mr. Siri Siri At: 9, Dec 2006 8:16:34 PM IST Very well then.
Now the Writer can come forward and post her next Episode.
Posted by: Mr. Yama Kinkarudu At: 9, Dec 2006 8:14:51 PM IST Don't see a strong case from your side as of now and until I see some proof, I'm going to let the writer continue with her saga. Your 'group' can object all they want, until you guys show some proof, we will not stop it just for few people in TP.

LOLZ Who is trying to convince you? I have been saying right from Page #1 --- if you enjoy this Howla version of Ramayan then *** GO AHEAD AND ENJOY IT *** But I dont enjoy it .. as simple as that ..
If you dont want to stop it, You dont need to ... We will have our own views. No Body called for a BAN on this ... you have your own right to write whatver you want to
Just because your 'group' thinks those are foul words, those will not become one. There are hundreds of dialects in AP, you never knew how in each dialect, street drama folks use the choice of words.

Its between my group and the villagers to decide what is foul lingo and what is not.
We go thee with an open mind and if they can convince us that Rama calling Laksham "Howla" is a piece of Art-Work and Rama being depicted as a letcher is the real culture, then we lose ..
If we succeed in convincing them that the cheap lingo we use in daily life cannot be attributed to the Gods then it would be a success for us ...
As of you, if you are not convinced, then go ahead and write whatver we want ... people who like it would clap and people who dont like it would resent ...
That's still your word against mine. I want to see someone else from TP(a telanganite) confirm that those words are filth.
_____________________________________________
If you dont think they are filth then go ahead and use them, may be against your own friends and family ( if you feel that they aint foul words) ... Whats my problem?
As far as I am concerned, those words and depictions are filthy and I too have many people in my group who agree with me (Just like the members of your group who agree with you)

and about the proof ... well, those days I was heading a small group of volunteers belonging to Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) and I have visited those villages to convince people about something else. I must be having some photographs I clicked with those artists back in India. Lemme see whether I can get that from anyone

If it is not the case then we will go to those places where foul words have been used and start our operations right there ...

Posted by: Mr. Yama Kinkarudu At: 9, Dec 2006 8:01:40 PM IST I am sure it is much more easy to convince a God-fearing villager with a clean heart, than a city dweller whose priorities are different in life

Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 9, Dec 2006 7:58:52 PM IST What makes you think that is the case with every city in Telangana?

We have access to Audio/Video studios where we can make small films and circulate them among those villagers. We already started thinking about our budget

I have seen 4-5 street plays and Burra Kathalu too in 4-5 districts of Telangana and Nobody used these words inthe context of Gods. They did use them in the context of common man

Do you have proof?
It's your word against mine.
Posted by: Mr. Yama Kinkarudu At: 9, Dec 2006 7:42:43 PM IST It makes a difference to me as I choose family over friends.
