There is a rule haiku has to have 3 lines , with each line having 5,7,5 syllables respectively. But that may be an easy thing to japanees language...a bit diffcult to ours I guess. Even english peots find a bit difficult. If you can make it, then its really wonderful. But no worries so many telugu poets did widout that 5-7-5 rule :) The real beauty of haiku is the amusing picture it presents with simple words and few lines.
