Posted by: Ms. G Sunita At: 30, Apr 2003 5:53:33 AM IST Scoiety changing.
Before in West they dont like blacks. But now its changing.West menas not only USA...
Other countries are also almost fully developed. You work and get money.Thats the policy.
But in India it is never going to be changed.Reservations should meant for upbringing low econmy ppl.But it is fully political drama by indian politicians. They want vote bank thats it.
Posted by: Mr. M.S.Reddy At: 30, Apr 2003 5:51:38 AM IST the west has upheld individualism and 'equal opportunities' as the highest truth. but how can we ignore the hypocricy and undercurrents of discrimination that they have?
we have had 3 muslim presidents and a woman prime minister in 56 years of freedom. not only that, even other third world countries like srilanka, pakistan and bangladesh have had women leaders.
then how come the great US have never had a black president or a woman president in more than 300 years of history? how do we explain that? by saying that not a single black person or woman had the intensity or capability of reaching that position in 3 centuries?

Posted by: UK At: 29, Apr 2003 8:08:20 PM IST actually earning means 'working for money'. americans pani cheyaru anatledu, but their attitude towards money is too... loose if i may use the word. asia lo laga "manchiga chadukuni, manchi ujogam sampainchuni, apulu ani tirchesi, illu koneskuni....." ala never ending relation with money undadu valaki. we generally 'earn' while they 'make' money or 'live on it'... i dont know how to make it clear :).. hope u r getting what i am trying to say
Posted by: Ms. G Sunita At: 26, Apr 2003 7:29:19 PM IST :) i agree with mr. yugandhar
rahul ya you are right, its that culture which affects not only the lifestyle and outlook of western and eastern people but also the economics.
thats why asian countries like japan and india save. they invest in US, and americans spend and raise their debt. no wonder the world economy is so dependent on the US economy, they are the spenders of the world. we need them to spend our savings :)
Posted by: Ms. G Sunita At: 26, Apr 2003 7:02:31 PM IST amrutha gaaru, rahul is right, konni aina chepandi, then the others can agree or disagree and then we can have a discussion :)
