| Here is another face of isse:
Over 95% of marriages involving dowries does not have any issues. In all these cases, dowries are actually given by either father or brother of the girl (girl herself never pays for dowry). In all these cases silent sufferer is actually another boy, hard working to pay dowry (not a girl).
Girl is only sufferer about 5% or less cases,
that too when her brother or father fails to pay the dowry....

chellellaithe issue would have already started.. what is more... unless their marriage is over (or they are too young), even his marriage will not be approved....

My best opinion about all the system is, WHATEVER BE THE EXPECTATIONS, AGREEMENTS ETC (whether it is dowry, or property division or any other system) should be finalized and completed before marriage.
Boys or their parents should not develop any new expectations after the marriage is over.
In the same way, whatever be the agreement made by girl/parents, should be done in promptu, without any pending transactions...
how does it sound???
