I hope that you got a very good understanding but in a way you got it wrong in saying that soul is not immortal! you are right in stating that there is soul in every object but it exists in different states in different objects of life!In plants and animals it exists in crude form that is a kind of sleeping state, in humans it exists in impure form and where as in Gods who again take human form to correct the creation towards right path when it moves in wrong direction, the soul is in pure form and in purest form it loses body and its physical existence but it stll exists.thus the final goal of life beyond life is perfection of individual soul which travels from plant stage to divine state of evolution.

I have seen only a couple of messages from u ppl in here.. i donno where actually the discussion started from.. but according to the previous message over here. I c that u ppl saying soul is immortal.. but I believe it is not.. every soul has its destination again.. when a person dies his soul leaves the body.. and when the soul attains some stage , it will end its life. Don't ask me what stage it is.. I have newer been through it. The only reason y I can say this is... if the souls are immortal.. there is no difference between a GOD, CAT , HUMAN and a DOG. Soul does not come only from humans.. every living being has a soul... and when a soul is immortal , it is equal to GOD.. which does not make any sense..
So what I believe is every soul also ends at certain period.
Posted by: Mr. Gokul Krishna Addanki At: 25, Sep 2003 2:45:33 PM IST Discussion is really going on well.
let me add that the soul can not exist witout body as long as it is not in its original state of purity which can be attained surprisingly again through body only. It is a cyclic change till the original purity is obtained and for that reason only it enters into new body again and again till that pure state is attained . once that purity is attained it need not take a body but can exist as long as there is creation till final dissolution of the entire creation .Thus it exists permanently either in body or in pure state if it could get the purity and its identity may lost without body but its entity remains till final dissolution

Posted by: Mrs. pooja kandarpa At: 25, Sep 2003 12:37:37 PM IST lets understand what is life to look beyond...talking about souls... if souls are immortal then what is life?
Posted by: Mrs. pooja kandarpa At: 25, Sep 2003 11:03:58 AM IST absolutely nothing....when therez no life...no question of destination beyond it. anta matti lo kalisipotundi. Its unbearable truth, souls get very scared that they make up stuff like heavens, beyond life.
