Posted by: Mr. Czar At: 24, Oct 2003 8:28:19 PM IST what are u people talking about :o
do u people have the guts to get a court order to restrain the shouts of mullah on the loud speaker?? u people can never do it.. why? becoz they are minorities. at 5 am in the morning when some freaky idiot shouts on the loud speakers, u tolerate it. but same thing temples put on there is so much chaos and people go to Supreme Courts. same thing never happens if minorities yell at the top of their voice.
i call this DOUBLE STANDARDS AND HYPOCRISY!!!
grow up desis and this is the reason why india cant get to the TOP
Posted by: Mr. Czar At: 24, Oct 2003 8:18:36 PM IST "Unique standard is preferred to have more noice pollution causing more disturbance in the evenings and nights exclusively during examinations".
A disturbance is a disturbance it's nothing to do with the religion. Those who are disturbed find those elements not the religion. It will cause more disturbance and loss of mind.
We being the people of secular state need an understanding at every level (starting from villages).
WE PAY RANSOM amounts to please or influence the charity / community / trust who were involved in playing those loud speakers right at our ears but failed to complain the same.
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 24, Oct 2003 11:17:39 AM IST dont u think its double standards in india and they follow dual laws based on majority and minority.
when the same mullah shouts early in morning or at night time on loud speaker. there is no law restraining them!!!!
SC stays firm, no crackers after 10 pm
NEW DELHI : The Supreme Court has refused to ease its ban on firecrackers beyond 10 pm on Diwali.Sticking to an earlier Supreme Court ruling that festivities and noise can't go together, a Bench of Justices R C Lahoti and Ashok Bhan recently rejected the plea of the Firecracker Manufacturers Association, which sought a relaxation in the court order so that Hindus in South India could burst crackers at 3 am while giving an oil bath to idols on Diwali day.
The Bench said cultural and religious considerations would not warrant a variation in the apex court's earlier order on the issue.
