Our media said that a tribal man and a hubby of tribal woman was killed by naxals(Mani Kumari's hubby)... but how many media people really tried to find pit what has he done to the tribal people? Have you seen her house? New house? Jayalalita, Laloo ... they can never be brought to justice in India. I'll tell an example... That was in 2000-01. All ministers of parliament were given with telephone card for their usage(official) and one minister misplaced his card at home and his son used it for his personal purpose and this minister never paid the bill for that card as he was not really using it, thinking that he lost the card. At the end of the year, TELSTRA sent out a bill for around $50000 to that minister and he denied paying it. During the enquiry, it was found that his son misused the card. Then, the people of that country made him to pay the bill of small amount $50000( X 25 rupees at that time) = INR12,50,000 and he paid it in instalments. For that simple amount of Rs 12,50,000, they made a big fuss in Parliament, people protested, saying that if he doesn’t pay that money, it will be gone from these people’s pocket as tax. That was the awareness the people have. But in our country?

Naxalites too enjoy some trust by some sections. They have sympathy also. I had a first hand experience. Recently, when some of the unemployed youth met all the elected leaders of the legislative assembly, for injustice and corruption in APPSC exams, all their promises proved false. A person, who write articles to Eenadu, suggeted them, it's better to approach either communists or naxalites for justice! He even continued to say that these politicians will not give U any justice to U.

Mr.Rishji, //Naxalism is a much broader issue than merely a socio-economic issue. Whatever be the reason for its genesis, it's primary objective was to fight against injustice, and the tool has always been violence. It might have started with some idealism, but today it is desperation. It started as a war against land lords, when the economy was primarily agro based. But when the injustice began showing in industrial jobs, government jobs, medical profession, naxalites became guardian angels everywhere fighting the cause... ...Please kindly elaborate this. I need to clarify what I have already posted to my daily. May be it's going to be published soon.

Kiran, /*Umm. If they are sincere towards their objective, why not they contest elections and putforth their view point, by winning them.*/ They are sincere towards their objective. Perhaps you didnt understnad what their objective is. As Vachaspathi said, they are against the current parliamentary form of Psuedo democracy and a constitution which protects the property rights of the rich. They want the constitution to be rewritten and the current existing system to be overthrown. That is the reason they dont participate in the election. Coming to killing the innocents, no revolutionary party kills innocents. Infact, they arent even killing the fuedal lords. They are killing only the people who are a threat to their existence and who try to kill them. Killing informers is an act of self protection. I agree with Rishi's views.
