You might find this interesting...VJ you must have noticed this already ... Using Google > Translate Tool ---Translate "Toilet" from Eng to Spanish ---Use the translated text in spanish and re-translate that back to English...:)

Thinking of it...I think we are pronouncing it wrong...it may have to be pronounced as 'Su-laabh' meaning to get laabh easily, from all the extortions they do from the people in their worst situation! :P

I got the same question about the charge to use the 'sulabh' facility...:p /*why are toilets here called 'restrooms'*/ well you know for firangi's here it is THE resting place with all the comfort/rest they get sitting on that pot :p where as it is nt quite the same comfort you get for the same action in India...is it? ;)

lol Rahul, also why do they charge Rs.2 to get in if they are public! :( Conversely why are toilets here called 'restrooms', is anybody going there to rest?
