Small Correction!
It's river Krishna.
There may be a women with the name Amaravathi, but once it was center of Budhism in South India. Amaravathi and surrounding Nagarjuna Konda had some hectic activity of Buddhist discourses during Nagarjuna. Later it became a Shiva Temple while the Budhist remains exist. Amaravathi Stupa is still there! Now one can see it. It's nearby Guntur few Kilometres away!

We atleaststudy amnd understand history upto 10th standard .. unliek the Journalists who fail in history 10 times and take up Journalism because they dont have anything else to do.. right?
Ok where is the Proof about Amaravati and that proof belonged to which period?
