Let us presume that only some colleges are on the right track or only some colleges are on the wrong track. The issue here is these corporate colleges are collecting so much of donation and not heeding to the principles or morals that guide the educational institutions. If some organisation which does not have anything to do with morals resorts to corruption, nepotism, irregularities, swallowing of funds etc, one can understand. But we are talking in terms of colleges, the temples of education, which are supposed to impart good education, good values, praise worthy practices, teach morals, behavior etc. While these are the responsibilities of the colleges, how can they practice corruption as a way of life? They swallow funds. They don't keep their word. They collect huge sums in the name of providing all infra structures, promise computer education etc. But there are no labs, no computers and nothing. Many corporate colleges are believed to be in the habbit of getting even the question papers and distributing to the students. Is this good to the Country? Is it good to the Education System? In the first place is it necessary to have Corporate Colleges and Corporate Hospitals ? I am worried that one day we will even see the rise of an ugly hood called Corporate Agriculture sooner or later. Let us prevent such catastrophe.

I am totally confused with the topic under discussion. I am not exactly aware of what participants meant by "Corporate Colleges".? Everyone seems to make only an abstract point. To make the discussion more informatiive and interesting, can someone point out the wrong-doings, weaknesses and strengths of a corporate college. Whats the role of the government? Is governemt interference in corporate policies(college policies) justified? Well, this way the questions seem endless. Expecting a good discussion to be on the way. Pavan

Not all colleges, but I think many colleges are on the wrong track. Some Corporate colleges have no morals. They don't even pay well to the teaching staff. When they collect large sums from the students why don't they pay? Some colleges are very bad in dealing with the students. This must change.

i think because of these colleges only there is competition. healthy competition is always good for the growth the society. the government should see to check the wrong doings of some of them.

The Corporate Collegses have been on the wrong track for quite some time. However, the government should not interfere with iron hand. The Corporate managements should take proper steps to set the wrongs corrected.
