For some reason, I feel Rajahmundrians have a lot of love for their place. Ofcourse the land of Godavari is such. I feel proud to have been on Godavari bund, Devi Chowk, Kota Gummamam during my school n college days.
Now it'z a Corporation. We expect to see lot of improvements before the next Pushkaram. What do u people say?

Posted by: Mr Nagesh Durvasula At: 8, Mar 2002 2:51:36 AM IST People from the great city of Culture and Heritage are none other than Rajahmundrites. One might have heard this saying in our language
"Vedamla Ghoshinche Godavari
Amaradhamla sobhille Rajamahendri"
People from all walks of life should accept the greatness of the City.
I am proud to be born on the banks of river Godavari (gives cool temperment- as the people says) specially at Dakshin Kasi i.e. Rajahmundry
But my sincere regrets to todays' Rajahmundry is we are lacking our vedic culture and other things. We must be ready to protect our culture and the city.
I do hope, I, along with other gentlemen would revive the sanctity of the Holy City
Posted by: Mr SRINIVAS DHAVALA At: 30, Jan 2002 8:06:46 PM IST I luv Rajahmundry very much. My born and broughtup is happened in Vizianagaram. I am a frequent visitor to Rajahmundry as all my relatives are there.
Eventhough it is not much developed as other cities in the aspect of roads and other facilities, still i feel very happy to roam in the town.
I'm happened to see Gautami library once which is still maintaining the historic books and all giving a lot scope for researchers. It is really good.
Posted by: Mr Rajesh bikkina At: 1, Sep 2001 7:34:16 PM IST I love this Place. I am from Amalapuram and a visit to Rajahmundry during my childhood is very often for me.
It is very good .. Hope the narrow roads would have been widended now ... ( may be at the cost of some people's property ... I dont mean hurt them ... )
