Now this is a big film. Mahesh Babu and Gunasekar team up after the hugely successful Pokiri, and naturally high-voltage stuff is expected. But the combo has been able to recreate the magic only to a small extent.
The story has a lot of potential -- a relevant political issue -- with students taking on goons who dominate the political system. Though Sainikudu starts on a promising note, it peters to some extent as the film progresses. There are some political comments -- like hints at the failure of the government machinery which ought to come to the aid of the masses -- ---------

I am a fan of telugu cinema but not in particular a fan of any hero other then chiru. I must say that mahesh is boon to telugu cinema, he is defnatily in the league of NTR(sr) and Chiru.
Pawan may have huge fan following then mahesh and everyone know the reason being he is chiru brother. But when it comes to performance mahesh is far better than pawan.
Also dont compare pawan with chiru, tamudhu is no way near chiru. i even feel allu arjun gives good performance than pawan

I am a great fan of Prince.I belive whatever he do looks like made for him.I am verymuch impressed with every movie.
Apart from that I am sorry to say this movie didnt matched my expectations.This is not a mistake of PRINCE.Bcoz he is just superb with his presence in every scene.Movie by Movie he is getting Bigger than Cinema.I am really sorry to say if this movie goes wrong..its bcoz of the DIRECTOR.He is having excellent story in the hand..where his direction is not upto the level.Second Trisha..I would choose better heroine for this role than Trisha.She is Good..But pretty Ordinary.I would have prefer New face for this role than Trisha.Third,Imran..I dont know why they selected him for this movie.I think if villain is strong then it would be more intresting and his dubbing is really boring.Fourth,Misuse of Great Prakash Raj.No doubt about that.I think total film lacks because of the Director,Trisha and Imran.
May be Director liked to try for something new,he tried but not in the way where he can justify this great concept.He used many graphics where its no need for that.Bcoz they are having a guy like Mahesh.I still dont understand whats the use for thatmuch Graphics?
To be Frankly Director Spoiled this vgood subject,Trisha spoiled the heroine role and Imran for Villain role.

Review: i am a big fan of superstar maheshbabu.But i was too much dissappointed by satyanaraya theater in eluru because of not seeing my super star's(mahesh)film in early mornning .But gunasekhar the worstfellow made this film me to dissappointment screenplay is not good and thanks to c.aswinidutt for making this big budget .I made cry also because of seeing film .I am not chooser to mahesh but "please not make suchfilms i will expect that "athidi"should make me another pokiri and okkadu",I expect this film(sainikudu) should me another okkadu,thanks you god making me superstar's fan since the film "okkadu"

Review: Irfan khan has killed this film. Not competent as villian against maheshbabu in this film. He is good in hindi, the dubbing is absurd, and film is very slow. Only punching factor to this movie is mahesh and only mahesh.
